The Equity Compensation Advisor will be responsible for managing and administering the company's equity compensation programs including the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) and relationship with the EquatePlus (EQ+) platform. This role involves maintaining compliance with legal and financial regulations, coordinating with various departments, and preserving accurate records in the EQ+ system, HRIS and SharePoint.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related field
A minimum of 10 years experience in equity compensation management and administration
Strong knowledge of legal and financial regulations related to equity compensation
Proficiency in HRIS systems (HiBob), ADP, SharePoint, and/or other compensation management systems
Highly proficient in MS Office specifically; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook
Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership, all employee levels, and service providers
Ability to effectively solve problems and formulate fit-for-purpose solutions
Superior time management and multitasking skills with a strong sense of urgency
Passionate and confident individual with demonstrated organization, prioritization and critical thinking skills
Proven active listening and speaking skills
Job responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of all equity compensation documentation, including designing and managing related processes within the HRIS and other equity compensation portals/programs
Manage grant data in EQ+, including regular reporting, reconciliation and coordination of payroll details
Lead employee communications related to equity compensation plans, including plan terms, award conditions, vesting schedules, exercises, and sales; develop and deliver awareness training as needed
Administer Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) and Stock Option plans in EQ+, maintaining accurate tracking of vesting and exercise dates
Oversee the administration of IREN’s existing loan funded share agreements
Maintain compliance with SOX obligations related to equity compensation, including preparing documentation for audits and required reporting
Support reconciliation of equity compensation share reserves held with Computershare and assist with S-8 filing obligations
Maintain up-to-date equity compensation grant records and assist in preparing share-based payment reports and bi-annual LTIP payment schedules for Finance
Assist in preparing reports for regulatory equity compensation filings required by IREN’s status as a Domestic Issuer
Support the coordination of employee adherence to the Insider Training Compliance Policy

Salary range: Starting at CAD $140,000, depending on experience
