ESOL Tutor
Location – North LondonSalary - £30,722.82 - £37,05+.7+Position – Full-time, Mon- Fri

As a Tutor you will develop and deliver high quality, learner focused education to meet contractual requirements and standards, in line with policies and procedure, supporting learners and colleagues alike to ensure the best outcome for all who work within our sector.
Day-to-day role:
• Main role will revolve around planning & delivering lessons, marking student work, monitoring student performance and implementing appropriate interventions where necessary to ensure students have the very best chance of succeeding.
• Work collaboratively with Functional Skills Tutors/Learning Support Practitioners to support literacy, language and numeracy skills within the programme.
• Provide a supportive role and motivate learners to successfully overcome the barriers to gaining qualifications and employment.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience in teaching.
• UK recognized teaching Qualification e.g. PGCE/Cert ED
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
• You’ll be a self-starter with a passion to learn and grow yourself and will bring passion, dedication, and positivity to your new role.
