Urgent Requirement for Estimation Engineer (Jr. Estimator)
As a Junior Estimator, you will be responsible for assisting in estimating projects related to mechanical engineering / Steel Fabrication Industry. You will work closely with senior estimators and project managers to analyse project requirements, evaluate costs, and prepare accurate estimates.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in analysing project specifications, drawings, and other technical documents to understand project requirements.
• Assist in conducting assessments of project scope, materials, labor, and other resources required for project execution.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to gather necessary information for estimating.
• Utilize industry-standard estimation software and tools to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Assist in reviewing vendor quotations, subcontractor bids, and material prices.
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
• Support in maintaining documentation of estimates, assumptions, and cost data.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in an estimation role.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimation software/tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
Location : Remote / Work from home
Salary : 30-40K INR / month
