Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to support our Public and Community Engagement team in the production of multiple events across our public engagement programme.

This exciting role will involve providing exceptional administrative support, including meetings, finance, event operations, and logistics. You will also have the opportunity to work on projects such as volunteer recruitment, production schedules, partnership administration, and event staff catering.
About the Position
• This is a full-time post (35 hours per week) for a fixed-term contract of 36 months.
• The successful candidate will be required to work on site during key events, including the Great Exhibition Road Festival and Imperial Lates.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support to the Public and Community Engagement team.
• Support with event planning and logistics, including venue management and supplier coordination.
• Manage project schedules and timelines to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment and training for public events.
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial processing, including budget maintenance and transaction matching.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience in administrative roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience working with SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of finance principles and practices.
