Location: EY

Rate of pay: £2+,300 per annum

Working pattern: Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities
• To handle all event enquiries
• To respond to enquires using the response templates as set out in the SOP Manual.
• To handle inbound guest calls in accordance with the telephone handling standards as set out in the SOP Manual
• To manage all enquires in a timely manner within the required response time
• To maintain accurate communication at all times
• To undertake guest show rounds to sell the venue in a way relevant for the booking
• To discuss and confirm all booking details with the guest prior to the event to ensure excellent execution
• To demonstrate commercial acumen to minimise costs and maximise revenue
• To sell the venue space to ensure a maximum yield of the diary
• To follow up on all enquires ensuring the Sales Pipeline is accurately maintained
• Work with team members to achieve sales weekly/monthly targets.
• Work to upsell to clients as appropriate.
• Ensure a good knowledge of EY key clients and industry trends is maintained at all times.
• To be present for key events to liaise between the guest and the hospitality operations team
• To discuss all special event requirements with the relevant departments
• To communicate all event detail on a weekly basis and update daily to all departments with any changes
• To ensure that all company documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner
• To ensure all events are billed promptly, accurately and charged to the correct account codes.
• To carry out any reasonable management request
• To receive and implement any training required
• To undertake specific projects when asked by management.
• To be trained in the event booking system. To be able to efficiently search, book and cancel events.
• To accurately place clients and event information into relevant booking systems.
• To relieve and assist in other areas within the unit or other establishments
