About the job:
We are seeking a 'Sports Events Manager' to lead the planning and execution of approximately 100 sports events over six months. This role involves managing all aspects of event coordination, from concept to execution, with the assistance of a team of interns. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive a glowing letter of recommendation from the Chief Minister's office upon successful completion of the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event planning and execution: Timelines, logistics, coordination, operations, and resource allocation.
2. Team management: Hire and supervise a team of interns, and delegate tasks effectively.
3. Budget management: Manage events efficiently, negotiate with vendors for equipment, and ensure all expenses are tracked and kept within limits.
4. Promotion strategies: Build relationships with society members, develop promo materials, and execute strategies to maximize event participation.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
