The Event Manager provides professional client services support in the planning, organization, and management of events within the facility. The role requires a minimum of two years of management-level experience coordinating various events in a multi-purpose facility servicing conventions, exhibits, shows, athletic events, concerts, sales meetings, and food functions in a Convention Center or Major hotel.. health insurance, dental insurance, 401(k). Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; minimum of two years management level experience coordinating events in a multi-purpose facility; excellent verbal and written communication skills; working knowledge of facility management principles and equipment; excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize multiple projects; problem-solving and communication skills; supervisory experience required; professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic; knowledge of using Microsoft Office; ability to work under limited supervision and interact with all staff levels including management; ability to work long and irregular hours including day, evening, weekends, and holidays
