Job Description:
Title:- Manager - Events Marketing
Location:- Bangalore (Onsite)
Roles and Responsibilities:
Event Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and implement an end-to-end event marketing strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
• Plan, create, and manage a theme-based events calendar.
• Host and moderate offline and online events, delivering presentations as needed.
• Identify and onboard speakers, and coordinate with key decision-makers and industry experts.
Team Coordination and Leadership:
• Lead and manage the events team to ensure seamless execution of all events.
• Ensure all team members understand event goals and are working toward the same objectives.
• Provide guidance and support to the events marketing executive to enhance their performance.
Registration and Attendance:
• Drive event registration and attendance through online event portals, leveraging digital marketing strategies and tools.
• Develop and implement targeted campaigns to boost event visibility and attract attendees.
• Take ownership of driving successful events, ensuring a high level of attendee engagement and satisfaction.
• Analyze event success and provide actionable insights to improve future events.
Stakeholder and Vendor Management:
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing transparent communication around event progress.
• Negotiate with vendors and suppliers, managing event budgets and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to maximize awareness, registration, and attendance.
Attendee Experience and Feedback:
• Manage the attendee experience for online and live events, ensuring high-quality interactions.
• Collect, analyze, and report on attendee feedback to inform future event strategies.
• Implement changes based on feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Build and execute social media plans, creating engaging content for event promotion.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a high-profile and high-quality brand association.
• Work with the media team to secure pre- and post-event media coverage.
Reporting and Analysis:
• Provide accurate and timely event reports, including event P&L management.
• Track marketing-qualified leads generated from events and their conversion rates.
• Adhere to all internal procedures and business requirements.
Innovation and Improvement:
• Research trends in event planning and develop new ideas for future events.
• Ensure contingencies are in place for live events and adapt to last-minute changes.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in event management, preferably within a thought leadership or educational context.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Well-versed in planning and organizing events.
• Ability to think strategically and execute effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in event management software and social media platforms.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Skilled in project management.
