Description

Veeqo (veeqo.com)—a startup which was acquired by Amazon in 2021—is Amazon’s recommended shipping solution for sellers. We help sellers manage fulfillment operations across all their online stores, and ship orders to customers at the lowest cost and in the fastest possible time. Our vision is to become the back-office hub for ecommerce sellers, for both their on-Amazon and off-Amazon business.

The Role

Veeqo is seeking a dynamic Event Marketing Manager to elevate our growing events program and drive significant brand and business value. In this role, you'll leverage your extensive events experience and program management skills to oversee a diverse portfolio of proprietary and third-party events (e.g., regional, industry, and partner events)—from initial concept to execution and post-event analysis. You'll be the linchpin in our events operation, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align event messaging and activities with broader company goals. Your meticulous attention to detail is how you manage simultaneous events and projects, competing deadlines, and stakeholders. As an individual contributor, this role does not have direct reports.

Key job responsibilities
• Assist in managing and implementing event marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives
• Coordinate and manage all aspects of the event planning lifecycle, including, but not limited to: venue selection, vendor negotiation, stakeholder management, staffing and on-site logistics, and budget tracking
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, sales, product) to ensure event messaging and activities support cross-functional business goals
• Apply program management skills to oversee multiple events simultaneously, ensuring efficient resource allocations across rapid deadlines
• Manage on-site event execution, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier attendee experiences
• Support lead generation efforts through event-based activities and follow-ups
• Analyze and report on post-event data to measure ROI
• Actively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across event operations

Basic Qualifications
• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as required for events, and travel as needed (up to 30% per year)

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
• Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership
