Event Operations Manager

The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is a thriving charity that inspires everyone to grow. As the Deputy Venues Operations Manager, you will be part of a team delivering amazing events. This role requires flexibility based on an annualised contract of an average 40 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include leading from contract signing for event planning and delivery, allocating work to Venue Co-Ordinators, and liaising with clients, contractors, and agencies. The post requires regular early starts, late nights, and weekend working.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Personal Licence Holder qualification, ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with attention to detail, Health and Safety knowledge, supervisory experience managing a multi-disciplined staff, knowledge of security and emergency response, and knowledge and operation experience of sound, lighting, and AV equipment.
