Event Planning Specialist

The Tenderloin Housing Clinic is seeking a highly motivated and organized Event Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing social activities and events that enrich the lives of our tenants and foster positive communities.

Main Responsibilities
- Plan and implement social activities and events
- Collaborate with Support Services and Property Management staff to plan and implement social activities and events
- Maintain a list of all ongoing activities and events planned for tenants
- Collaborate with Case Managers to ensure all supplies and food are ordered and received
- Manage community event budgets and ensure spending is sustainable
- Serve as primary contact for external organizations and partners
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of resources available in the community

Requirements
- High School degree or equivalent required; BA/BS degree preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Activity coordination and event planning experience
- Leadership and training skills
- Valid California Driver's License and clean driving record
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
