Event Producers are experienced Team Leaders and Project Managers who are responsible for managing the success of one of Kayo’s Product Lines
Are passionate and knowledgeable about Events and serving its Women in Finance
Communicate excellently and eagerly with the ability to report information up and down and across the organization

Specifically, in this Event Producer role, you will be the strategic leader of our Fundraising and Investor Relations Product Line, which includes our Private Funds events series as well as any webinars or smaller lead-generation events that are offered to this audience
You will have at least two direct reports, a Project Manager who executes the project management day-to-day and Community Engagement Associate/Director who is responsible for event quality, speaker recruitment and attendee relations
Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA)

Lead weekly Project team meetings
Manage Project Managers and Community Engagement Associate/Directors
Oversee all Project Milestones
Discern project plans to ensure event timelines and deliverables are on track

Provide leadership and guidance, ensuring team members are clear on goals and expectations

Master Kayo’s 5-P Event Planning Process
Oversee and train your team to execute the 5-P Process, which includes the creation, tracking, and execution of detailed event project plans and timelines
Serve as a problem-solving resource, helping the team address logistical challenges and adapt to evolving event needs
Manage cross-departmental collaboration (marketing, sales, programming) to ensure cohesive and successful event execution
Lead and mentor the Project Manager, providing guidance and support to ensure accountability for project deliverables
Source and negotiate with vendors, manage event budgets, and lead on-site execution
Lead post-event wrap-up tasks and conduct a thorough event post-mortem to continuously improve processes
Speaker Recruitment, Community Engagement & Quality Control
Oversee Kayo’s speaker recruitment and engagement process for your Product line
Ensure demographic and quality metrics are met for your Products
Coach the team in building strong relationships with prospective speakers, ensuring smooth transitions and effective engagement

Job description

QUALIFICATIONS

PREFERRED Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Industry experience in finance, private equity, or institutional capital raising.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or similar) or Process Improvement methodologies.
• Prior experience in managing speaker recruitment or event production teams.
