Event Production Specialist

Job description
We're seeking an experienced Event Manager to join our team at British Medical Association House. Our ideal candidate will have a contract catering or hospitality background.

This role involves overseeing all logistical aspects of event setup, execution, and breakdown, including venue selection, catering, staffing, and transportation. You'll also be responsible for managing and supervising event staff, ensuring they are adequately trained and prepared for their roles.

We're looking for someone with strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Previous operational experience managing large and small events is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Event Logistics: Ensure seamless execution of events from start to finish, handling everything from venue selection to vendor management.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control event expenses to ensure financial goals are met.
• Staff Management: Supervise and train event staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols at all events.
