- Proven experience in group reservations or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, handling multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, customer-focused attitude.
- A proactive problem-solver adapting to changing guest needs and circumstances.
- Proficiency with reservation software, property management systems (PMS), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to collaborate across departments ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Detail-oriented, committed to providing high level of customer service at all times.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all group reservations, ensuring accurate and efficient booking processes.
- Liaise with clients, event organisers, and internal teams to confirm booking details and special requests.
- Coordinate with sales, front desk, and event teams to ensure all group requirements are met from arrival to departure.
- Handle special group requests, such as room block management, catering, and other event-related services.
- Ensure all reservation systems are updated and accurate, confirming bookings, rates, and availability.
- Resolve any issues or changes in group bookings, ensuring minimal disruption to operations or guest experience.
- Monitor group arrival patterns and adjust reservations to optimise room occupancy and revenue.
- Assist in training and mentoring reservation staff to ensure high level of service delivery.
- Maintain detailed records of group bookings and client communications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards.
- Provide regular feedback to management on group booking trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in service delivery.
