Events & Sponsorship Manager

Established in 2008, AstaGuru is Indias leading online auction house, specializing in Modern Indian and Contemporary art, luxury items, and collectibles. We have a rich history of achieving world record prices for prominent artists, maintaining a strong focus on curation, authenticity, and provenance. In 2018, we made history by launching a dedicated edition for vintage and classic cars, solidifying our position as a trusted destination for collectors and connoisseurs alike. At AstaGuru, we aim to provide our patrons with an open, transparent, and impartial platform for collecting treasures, all while undertaking research, exhibition, promotion, and preservation of art.

The Partnerships and Events Manager will be responsible for developing and nurturing partnerships with brands, securing sponsorships for events, and managing all aspects of event execution. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills, event management expertise, and a keen ability to integrate brand partners into AstaGurus events seamlessly.

Your role encompasses of -
• Brand Partnerships: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential brand partners aligning with AstaGurus events and values. Develop customized sponsorship proposals, tailored to meet the specific objectives of both AstaGuru and the brand partner. Lead negotiations, contract discussions, and ensure alignment with overall event strategy.
• Event Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Head of Events and the events team to plan and execute a variety of events, including auctions, exhibitions, and exclusive VIP experiences. Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including timelines, resources, and on-site management. Ensure the seamless integration of brand partner activations into AstaGurus events.
• Brand Integration: Work closely with brand partners to develop and implement engaging activations that align with AstaGurus and the brand partners objectives. Ensure cohesive branding and messaging throughout all event materials and platforms.
• Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for brand partners, fostering strong relationships throughout the sponsorship lifecycle. Provide regular updates and communication to brand partners before, during, and after events.
• Post-Event Evaluation and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive post-event evaluations, gathering feedback from brand partners and stakeholders. Compile and analyze data to create detailed event reports for the Head of Events, including insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications-
• Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in partnership management and successful execution of events.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Previous experience in planning and executing a variety of events.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the art, luxury, or auction industry is advantageous.
