Event Support Staff

As a key member of our catering team, the Catering Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This includes maintaining a high level of professionalism and service, ensuring seamless execution of events, and providing excellent communication with colleagues and guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Manager and/or Supervisor
• Maintain the highest level of professionalism and service while abiding by AEG's service standards
• Complete opening and closing duties as directed by management
• Set up, maintain, and break down for all functions
• Assemble and deliver all food and supplies for catered functions to their scheduled locations
• Log and maintain food temperatures
• Arrange tables and decorations
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Thoroughly clean location after event is completed
• Return food and beverages, serving equipment and utensils to proper location
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of complete menu and products on hand
• Adhere to the AEG Uniform and Grooming guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to obtain food safety certification and responsible alcohol service certification
• Excellent customer service skills
• Catering experience preferred
• Pleasant, courteous, and enjoy working with people
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Remain calm under stressful situations
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time while navigating ramps, stairs and elevators
• Sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 25 lbs.
