Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Events Assistant to join our dynamic team immediately. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about event planning and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. As an Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of a variety of events ranging from corporate meetings to large public gatherings.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and organizing a variety of events including meetings, conferences, and social functions.
• Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations for guests.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality service and timely delivery.
• Support marketing efforts by promoting events through various channels including social media, email campaigns, and press releases.
• Help create event materials such as invitations, programs, and signage to ensure brand consistency.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Previous experience in event planning, project management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with event management software.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for events.
