Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Events Floor Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an iconic luxury hotel, renowned for its exceptional service and breathtaking views. As the Events Floor Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our events, maintaining brand standards, and delivering outstanding hospitality. This role requires flexible working, you may expect long hours and overtime is paid.
Responsibilities:
·Oversee event shifts, collaborate with various departments, and lead by example.
·Maintain knowledge of brand standards, safety procedures, and hygiene standards.
·Manage staff, conduct pre-shift meetings, and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
Who we’re looking for:
·Previous experience in a similar events operations role.
·Strong leadership and communication skills.
·Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
