Our client, a corporate financial services firm, based in London are currently seeking an Events Manager. As the Events Manager, you will be an extremely organised multi-tasker, an excellent communicator and an enthusiastic and diplomatic team player. You will be responsible for planning and executing a range of events for the London office and the firm overall. You will have a passionate client-first mindset, enjoy creative idea-generation and collaboration and be solutions orientated. In this role, you will report to the Business Development Director and be supported by the Events Coordinator, based in London.

Main responsibilities will include:-

• Work closely with the events team and business leads on event creation and development

• Set and communicate event objectives with business leads

• Manage and be responsible for the London event calendar and budget

• Plan, manage and oversee all event procedures to a high standard, with strong attention to detail

• Communicate event plans and deadlines with internal clients in a timely manner

• Coordinate compliance pre-event approval and follow-up with final event cost and attendance

post-event

• Work with the messaging team to:

o manage event content from start to finish e.g. invitations, agendas, biographies etc.

o coordinate pre- and post-event external communication

• Be responsible for post-event internal reporting: tracking participation, collecting feedback and

providing analytical event assessment to business leads

• Attend events to ensure smooth execution, assist with hosting and make sure event objectives

are met

• Have excellent prioritization skills, able to work under pressure to tight deadlines, with the

ability to adapt to change

• Have exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work

collaboratively with colleagues at all levels

Qualifications and Skills

•You will have gained 5+ years of relevant professional experience in events - experience in delivering complex events is essential

• Experience of managing and working with a wide range of event suppliers and clients, managing

expectations to a high level

• Budget management experience

• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Salesforce, Pardot, Excel, Microsoft Office, Adobe

• Capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic, deadline-oriented

environment with a high degree of accuracy

• Highly organized, responsive, detail-oriented, team player with a flexible and a "can do" attitude

• Strong client-centric mindset

• Proactive self-motivation and time-management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to summarize data concisely and

clearly

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and drive results through collaboration
