We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead a team in delivering high-impact events, marketing initiatives, and business development programmes that support the growth of digital tech scaleups.
Contract Duration: 2 years/renewable
Salary: Up to $5,500/month
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and mentor a team of executives, ensuring successful programme execution, high performance, and professional development.
• Develop and implement strategies to foster an engaged community of developers and digital tech companies, ensuring a seamless and valuable user experience across programmes.
• Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of both virtual and in-person events, driving engagement and alignment with organisational objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and vendors on content curation to deliver compelling and informative programmes.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, vendors, and ecosystem partners to strengthen collaboration and programme outcomes.
• Coordinate joint events with partner organisations, ensuring smooth execution and shared success.
• Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, approvals, and payments, in compliance with public sector procurement policies.
• Analyse performance data and stakeholder feedback to refine strategies, enhance programme offerings, and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion strong data management and operational excellence within the team.
• Other adhoc tasks as assigned.

• Min. Diploma/Degree in Marketing/Mass Communications/Arts & Social Sciences/Business Management or any relevant field of study
• Proven leadership experience in event management or marketing for tech or B2B events
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement long-term engagement plans
• Excellent people management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams· Experience in managing budgets and resources with strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
• Passion for technology and innovation, with a commitment to supporting the growth of digital tech startups
