Full job description
Are you the kind of person who thrives on keeping things (and people) running smoothly? Do you love a bit of organised chaos and making a real difference behind the scenes? We’re The Pantry—a Brighton-based hospitality group with soul. We don’t just serve food; we build community.

We’re on the hunt for a people-loving, detail-oriented Executive Assistant & HR Coordinator to support our Managing Director and to keep our team humming. This isn’t your average desk job. It’s part HR, part EA, part glue-that-holds-it-all-together.

This role touches every part of our business—from executive support and HR coordination to guest services, payroll support, and venue operations. If you love variety and making a real impact, you’ll thrive here.

What’s in it for you:

A key role in a values-led, people-first hospitality group
Work with passionate leaders who actually care
A mix of HR, admin, operations, and a bit of everything else
You’ll have the autonomy to shape processes, improve systems, and grow with us as we expand
Flexible full-time permanent gig based onsite in Brighton, Victoria
Room to grow as we grow
You’ll be great at this if you:

Have experience in HR administration or as an Executive Assistant. A qualification in Human Resources is a bonus, but not essential—we value experience and attitude just as much.
Are warm, approachable, and love working with people
Can juggle calendars, comms, and chaos like a pro
Have a sharp eye for detail and a heart for hospitality
Bring initiative, discretion, and a “let’s get it done” attitude
You’re tech-savvy and comfortable navigating digital tools like Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and hospitality platforms (Fedelta, FoundU etc)
A day in your life might look like:

Keeping the MD on track—diary, meetings, priorities
Owning team onboarding, inductions, and team milestones
Liaising with suppliers, tech partners, and admin legends
Supporting with events, functions, and guest experiences
Keeping HR systems tidy and compliance boxes ticked
Supporting our venues with whatever admin magic is needed
Sound like your kind of vibe?

Send us your resume and a short cover letter telling us why you’re the one. We can’t wait to meet you.

Note: We’re all about authenticity, so please keep your cover letter and resume human made. We want to get to know you, not your preferred AI tool!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Benefits:

Employee discount
Professional development assistance
Schedule:

8 hour shift
Work Authorisation:

Australia (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
