Title: Executive Director, Office of the Chief Executive Officer (OCEO) Operations
Salary: $141,038 - $165,+27 - $1+0,817 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (core hours +am-3pm Monday-Friday)
Location: Park Royal Office, West Vancouver. Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.

Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy.

About the Role
In this position, the Executive Director, Office of the Chief Executive Officer (OCEO) Operations, reporting to the recently announced CEO, will provide senior level strategic support to the CEO in work planning, risk mitigation and establishing standards, processes, project management and frameworks. The Executive Director will work to develop and strengthen internal partnerships, as well as lead and / or support organization-wide initiatives.

The Executive Director will provide leadership and supervision to staff members in the OCEO and provide strategic and operational leadership including administrative, financial and management responsibilities and accountabilities to achieve operational efficiency. The Executive Director represents the CEO at a wide variety of meetings with key internal and external stakeholders including federal and provincial partners and other Health Authorities works to develop and strengthen partnerships.

The Executive Director will also lead and model cultural safety and humility in all interactions, partnerships and initiatives and will provide leadership that creates and fosters a healthy and engaging environment that enables personal excellence, contributes to FNHA’s vision of “Health through Wellness” and cultural safety and humility in the workplace.

About You
To be successful in this role:

You have a proven track record of exceptional relationship building, collaboration and communication;
You are driven, and value collaboration and partnerships to meet goals and deadlines;
You live FNHA’s values’;
You have a University degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience and a Masters’ Degree is an asset;
You have significant, recent and relevant experience including progressively responsible senior leadership experience in a similar sized organization, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (usually acquired over a period of 10-15 years);
You have experience working with First Nations organization and leadership;
You have experience in leading and supporting organizational wide programs, services and activities;
You have extensive knowledge of the current landscape of activities, priorities and projects within the FNHA and services related to the department.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
