Jigsaw Whanganui is a highly reputable Te Tiriti agency. Under our vision Kaupapa Whānau, we work alongside whānau and families in Whanganui, Rangitikei and Ruapehu to be at their very best for their children.

The agency Trust Board is seeking to appoint an Executive Officer to lead the implementation of the Trust vision and strategy.

We are seeking a credible and effective leader who is able to demonstrate an absolute commitment to the integrity of whānau and carries a sound understanding of effective social work practice alongside whānau and families.

With proven experience in team work and fostering a culture of kindness, collaboration, and continuous improvement, we are seeking someone able to manage staff, assets, contracts, finance, stakeholder relationships and communications. You must have the capacity to build and maintain effective relationships across iwi, government and community with high level of personal integrity and reliability.

Salary Band : $120,000 - $140,000

This person must:

always work to uphold the mana and dignity of whānau and families, and their whakapapa, often in the face of systems that undermine their integrity
encourage whānau to acknowledge their strengths and realise their resources and hopes
work intentionally to grow the professional excellence of everyone in our team
