Job description
Robert Half is seeking a knowledgeable Expense Reporting Accountant for a prominent client located in Tukwila, WA. The selected candidate will be liable for scrutinizing and managing expense reports, verifying costs against pertinent documentation, upholding adherence to company policies, and communicating with diverse staff levels to resolve inquiries and give expense policy training. The ideal fit will be able to detect trends, high-risk transactions, and communicate meaningful insights.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehend, convey, and apply company's financial and expense reimbursement policies, rules, and procedures.
Cross-verify expense reports against finance policies to ensure compliance.
• Confirm that submitted documentation meets the company's policy criteria.
Draft reports and scrutinize dashboards to identify and follow trends.
• Recognize areas for potential cost reduction or procurement, collaborating with key players to actualize solutions.
Efficiently interact with all company levels, offering clarifications on non-compliant reports and driving resolution for timely reimbursement.
Deliver top-notch customer service always.
Produce and analyze data for performance metrics and reporting.
Assist in preparing journal entries for month-end financial closing.
Contribute to occasional, special projects as needed.
