Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering high-quality service to our customers. A mechanic who desires to treat our customers like they would want to be treated. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools.

As a Mobile Repair and Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in our repair and maintenance operations, ensuring high-quality customer service. How do we define High-Quality Customer Service?

Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various vehicles, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques, including computer diagnostics for a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for repairs, including welding when required.
• Maintain on-site work appearance, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain an organized and efficient mobile workshop, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order.
• Maintain a clean work-site throughout service and at the conclusion of service.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate updates to Service Writer.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all repairs.
• Address customer concerns and provide clear explanations of repairs needed and services performed . Typically, customer concerns should be directed to the Service Team so you may continue to do what you love - solving problems.
• Clear and professional communication with the Service Writer when explaining issue from a diagnostic service, have questions pertaining to a repair order, when in need of new parts, or when resolving issue with an incorrect part order.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Continuously update skills and knowledge of automotive technologies and trends.

Experience
• Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment and tools related to automotive repair is essential.
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment; Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• ASE certification or equivalent preferred.

Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week

Schedule:

Experience:
• Automotive repair: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:
• ASE G1 Maintenance and Light Repair Certification (Preferred)
