Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HR Specialist with expertise in recruiting for logistics, freight forwarding, freight brokerage, trucking and customs brokerage roles.
The ideal candidate will be adept at sourcing highly qualified candidates for multiple divisions within our company, including remote positions.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment & Sourcing: Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract candidates for freight forwarding, freight brokerage, and trucking positions.
• Job Postings: Create and manage job postings on LinkedIn and other platforms to ensure they reach highly qualified candidates.
• Candidate Screening: Screen, interview, and evaluate candidates to ensure they meet the specific job requirements and align with company culture.
• Onboarding Support: Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new hires to ensure smooth integration into the team.
• Talent Pool Management: Build and maintain a robust network of qualified candidates to address future hiring needs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Qualifications
• Experience: Proven experience as an HR Specialist or Recruiter, with a strong focus on recruiting for logistics, freight forwarding, freight brokerage, or trucking positions.
• Remote Recruitment: Solid experience recruiting for remote positions, with a clear understanding of the unique challenges and requirements associated with hiring virtual teams.
• Recruitment Platforms: Expertise in using LinkedIn and other recruitment platforms to source top candidates.
• Strong Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage candidates from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR software, and other digital tools to streamline the recruitment process.
