The Facility Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that a company’s physical assets are operating efficiently and effectively. Responsible for managing all facilities-related services, including maintenance, safety, and environmental compliance, the Facility Manager drives the overall functionality and sustainability of the workplace. This position is pivotal to enhancing the work environment, minimizing disruptions, and maximizing productivity. By overseeing a range of operational tasks, the Facility Manager ensures that the facilities conform to industry standards and improve employee satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of facilities
• Develop and implement facility management policies and procedures
• Manage and allocate budgets for facility improvements and repairs
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for services and maintenance
• Ensure facilities comply with health and safety regulations
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor building conditions
• Oversee space planning and office layout optimization
• Manage emergency response and disaster recovery plans
• Maintain inventory of facility supplies and equipment
• Evaluate facility performance and implement improvements
• Communicate with management regarding facility issues
• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys related to facility conditions
• Act as point of contact for facility-related inquiries
• Implement sustainability practices to reduce environmental impact
• Develop and oversee training programs for facility staff
• Review contracts and agreements with service providers

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management
• Proven experience in managing budgets and financial reports
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices
• Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
• Effective leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in facility management software and tools
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Industry certifications (IFMA, BOMA) preferred
• Basic understanding of sustainability initiatives
• Strong customer service mindset
• Ability to work flexible hours when needed
• Physical ability to conduct site inspections
