The Role Responsibilities
Job Role
FCC Case Management strategic product to automate a case management system to ensure that the Bank can implement an automated surveillance monitoring and screening investigation system required to meet the AML policy and increasing regulatory expectations.
The product will cover all customers, geographies, transactions, customers, and products within SCB across 4 regions, 4 hubs, 70+ countries and predominantly Monitoring Surveillance and Screening processes.
This role is required to ensure the product related deliveries are specified, designed and documented in line with SCB’s FCC, WoW and PMO industry accepted standards of a well-run and well controlled product.
The Lead Business Analyst for FCC Case Management will lead and mentor a team of analysts and report directly to the FCC Case Management Product Manager.
The main tasks will be ensuring the team perform detailed requirements analysis, document processes, perform some acceptance testing, hold workshops, and conduct training.
To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. You should also have some technical knowledge to be able to review an FSD.
The Lead Business Analyst will not only lead but will also be expected take ownership of project sized changes, including preparing requirements documentation through to completing downstream impact assessments (including customer impact, process impact, operational impact, risk impact and data privacy).
Lead Business Analysis
Working on the requirements from upstream systems and preparing BRD / CRs.
Drive prioritising of requirements in LuW for delivery.
Managing stakeholders in requirements discussions and propose solutions.
Lead, mentor and assign responsibilities to a team of Analysts.
Preparing the documents for the WoW forums.
Prepare and deliver product and integration demonstration to FCC stakeholders.
Working with the IT team to explain the requirements and get estimates.
Working with the IT team in resolving / analysing some production related issues / bugs.
Working with the IT team in prioritising the defects for delivery.
Deliver training and knowledge transfer to Senior Stakeholders (including Executive Heads, AA / Act Process Owners and FCC Product Owners).
Interact with vendor to drive solution to requiements.
Preparing action plans and responses to reviews and queries (including OR, GIA, Assurance).
Assist in preparing responses to operational risk, audit or regulatory queries.
Strategy
Use process and data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.
Business
Lead and facilitate requirements gathering workshops and impact assessment sessions with stakeholders.
Ensuring business requirements are clearly documented, understood and traceable from requirements to benefits realisation with clear cost, benefit and risk areas.
Support creation and review of requirement documents, specifications and other product related (input / output) documents.
Undertake critical reconciliation of FSD to BRD and negotiate as appropriate where there are misalignments or alternative options to ensure stakeholders requirements are met.
Working with team and stakeholders during the build phase to validate that deliverables are aligned with expectation.
Processes
Identify the processes and information technology required to introduce changes.
Gain agreement, usually from senior management, of the best method of introducing changes.
Communicate the benefits of changes across departments and address any uncertainty and concern.
Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary.
Ensure plans are made and processes are created to evaluate the impact of the changes made, including taking responsibility for overseeing and reporting on this evaluation.
Managing the FCC Case Mangement integrated configuration documentation, ensuring documentation standards are rigorously applied.
Ensuring FCC documentation library is up-to-date with final signed off documents.
Experience in Unit Test, PT, SIT, UAT, Regression and UVT Support across teams with other groups.
Review own and peers work to ensure work is at standard (content and governance) to receive approval and reduce the need for further iterations.
Supporting with test management ensuring that bug fixes are prioritised and potential change requests validated.
Managing the process to agree and validate the future phases, country sequencing and scope of FCC.
Developing, socialising and agreeing the delivery plan.
People and Talent
Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of stakeholder as a whole.
Work with stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the work product.
Develop cohesive relationship with stakeholders to ensure open communication.
Support teams in making the recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues.
Manage stakeholder relationships and change management requests.
Risk Management
Consider the opportunities and potential risks attached to the suggestions you have made.
Advising on the testing strategy to ensure it supports the full set of business requirements and sufficiently documents and mitigates production risks through a robust test approach.
Governance
Ensure documents owned, reviewed and approved in compliance with FCC, NWoW and PMO.
Prioritise work to ensure that deadlines allow for the rigours of the governance process.
Regulatory and Business Conduct

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
5 years of experience of working within a regulated environment.
Track record of driving results through teams and challenging peers, stakeholders and third parties to achieve results.
Experience of using lean tools and analytical techniques in a wide range of operational and project environments.
Experience in preparing action plan in response to reviews and queries (OR, GIA, Assurance, Audit).
Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills with ability to work with diverse teams.
Experience with AML monitoring solutions (e.g. Oracle OFSAA AML) preferred.
Abreast with latest project management knowledge and thinking.
Experience in leading and mentoring a team of Analysts.
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
Sound product and project management experience.
Report writing and document management.

Other Requirements
Minimum ECBA
Certified SCRUM Master or Scrum Product Owner
Both certifications are required. Incumbent has 3 months (SCRUM) and 12 months (ECBA) to meet requirement post start in role. Extension can be granted by line manager if training and certification through SCB is not available within the three months.
