Working Conditions:

A skilled and knowledgeable laptop and desktop service technician is presently needed to expand our team. You'll be in charge of diagnosing, fixing, and maintaining PCs and laptops as a technician to make sure they run efficiently. Customers will immediately contact with you as you deliver great service and technical know-how.

Responsibilities:

- Carry out hardware and software diagnostics to pinpoint laptop and desktop problems.

- Make repairs to damaged parts, such as malfunctioning motherboards, CPUs, RAM, hard drives, and power supplies, among others.

- Install, configure, and update drivers, software, and operating systems.

- Investigate and fix issues with software, such as malware eradication, virus infestations, and slow system performance.

- Offer prompt and accurate quotes for services and repairs.

- Keep thorough records of all repairs, services, and components utilised.

- Conduct system optimisation and cleanups to improve device performance.

- Provide consumers with specialised advise and suggestions regarding upkeep and the best practises for using laptops and desktops.

Stay current on the newest hardware and software developments for laptops and desktops; • Assist clients with data backup and recovery procedures.
Requirements:

- Demonstrated expertise in a similar position or as a laptop and desktop service technician.

- Extensive familiarity with the hardware, software, and operating systems found in desktop and laptop computers.

- Solid troubleshooting abilities to identify and fix hardware and software problems.

- Expertise in replacing components and soldering, among other hardware fixes.

- A working knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures.

- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.

- The capacity to handle time and tasks effectively and autonomously.

- Attention to detail and dedication to correctness.

- Technical credentials like the CompTIA A+ are advantageous.

- The physical stamina required to lift and move desktops and laptops.
