SnacksNow Sales Representative
Position: Wholesale Sales Representative
Compensation: 100% Commission-Based
Objective
As a Sales Representative at SnacksNow, your primary role is to identify, pursue, and secure new wholesale customers. You are the face of SnacksNow—responsible for delivering exceptional service, building long-term relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction with every transaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition
Actively prospect and secure new wholesale customers.
Utilize leads, networking, cold outreach, and industry knowledge to identify potential clients.
Account Management
Build trust and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Be responsive and available to customers as they often shop multiple times per month.
Provide ongoing support, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless buying experience.
Sales Fulfillment
Process and fulfill orders accurately.
Ensure customers receive the correct products, at the agreed-upon prices, and on time.
Product Knowledge
Be fully informed on SnacksNow’s product offerings, pricing, and competitive advantages.
Communicate value and positioning clearly to customers.
Compensation Structure
Base Commission:
Sales reps earn 5% of every order they personally secure and fulfill.
Volume Incentive:
After surpassing $10,000 in total sales, you earn an additional 1% for every $3,000 in sales.
This incentive caps at $25,000+ in total sales, at which point your commission reaches 10% max.
Pricing & Discounts
Standard Pricing:
Reps are expected to sell at SnacksNow’s listed wholesale prices, as they are highly competitive.
Discount Flexibility:
If a potential sale is at risk over a small price difference, reps are allowed to offer price matching or discounts within reason.
Final commission will reflect COG (cost of goods) and margins on that specific sale.
Be strategic—discounting should be used as a tool, not a crutch.
Customer Retention
Locking in a new customer is just the beginning. Ensuring they come back consistently is crucial.
You should be proactive with follow-ups, updates on new inventory, and available to answer questions.
The more your customers order, the more you earn—their success is your success.
Performance Tips
Treat each client like a partner, not a transaction.
Be organized: track leads, follow-ups, and customer preferences.
Be honest and transparent—especially about pricing and product availability.
Never overpromise and underdeliver. Reliability builds trust, and trust builds volume.
