City of Newcastle (CN) is looking for passionate and self-motivated Field Workers to work across some of the best "offices" in Newy. We currently have multiple opportunities to join our team to assist in the maintenance and improvement of Newcastle's incredible passive and active open spaces including our parks, bushland reserves and sports facilities.
We value a positive team culture so to be successful in this role, you will be a team player with excellent customer service and communication skills, utilising these qualities both within your team and when dealing with the general public during the execution of works. You will also hold health and safety in high regard, ensuring that safe work practices are adopted and adhered to in accordance with CN's Code of Safety Practice and WHS requirements so that you, your workmates and the public are always safe on and around site.
Supporting the Open Space Operations team, you will use your skills and knowledge of horticultural and Greenkeeping practices to conduct the day-to-day maintenance operations within parks, gardens and sportsgrounds to the nominated service levels. You'll bring your experience operating specialised horticultural and Turf equipment and machinery with a commitment to safe work practices in all daily duties.
