Job Description
• Maintain and support FTP gateway systems infrastructure and jobs as part of a team;
• Required Windows Batch Scripting and Powershell Scripting knowledge (must).
• Troubleshoot FTP job problems;
• Maintain support and configuration documentation;
• Consult with colleagues and customers about FTP function & configuration;
• Design automated data transfer solutions;
• Develop scripts, including data encryption, when required;
• Design and create directory structures on internal FTP servers;
• Ensure compliance to relevant security policies and directives;
• Have secondary responsibility in supporting global job scheduling infrastructure;
• Can execute assignments of modest complexity;
• Demonstrated proficiency with Windows Command scripting and Unix Shell scripting;
• Working knowledge of FTP and SFTP command syntax;
• Experience with PGP encryption software;
• Familiarity with Windows and Unix file systems;
• Skills needed to troubleshoot and resolve file transfer issues;
• Ability to work independently and cohesively on a team;
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills;
• Availability to provide 24/7oncall
• Assistance for file transfer batch processes.

Primary Skills
• Experience working with Windows Server/Client operating systems.
• Knowledge in standard File Transfer Protocols (HTTPS,HTTP,FTP,FTPS (-SSL - implicit/explicit)/ SFTP.
• Experience working with PowerShell or other object oriented programming/scripting languages.
• FTP with windows Batch & Powershell scripting knowledge
• Experience in Unix, Win Batch scripting and FTP/SFTP connections setup.
• Experience in Creation of Public/Private keys to connect to the site through WINSCP
• Experience in creation of SSH keys through Putty and implement the same in external sites.
• Experience in Files Encryption/Decryption using PGP’s
• Having knowledge on troubleshoot the connection issues from FTP perspective.

Secondary Skills
• Investigate and diagnose Incidents to restore a failed IT Service as quickly as possible
• Resolve Incidents within the specified Service Level Agreements/Operational Level Agreements
• Document troubleshooting steps and service restoration details
• Responsible for setup and maintenance of both internal and external customer file transfer services
• Providing enterprise level customer support to these customers.
• The candidate must be able to maintain (upgrade/health check/etc) the file transfer services software, as well as know how the software interacts with the operating system.
• The candidate must also be able to work in a team oriented environment working with other members of IT and other lines of business, and manage multiple individual tasks with little supervision; continuing to stay abreast of new platforms or platform updates and how they may affect file transfers for external customers and/or the enterprise
