Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant / Finance Executive to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and be proficient in using financial software. This role is ideal for someone who is semi-qualified in CA, holds an MBA, or has a B.Com degree, and is looking to further their career in accounting and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
• Handle GST and TDS calculations, filings, and compliance.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Utilize Tally Prime for various accounting tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when necessary.
• Prepare financial reports for management review.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background:
o CA Semi-Qualified, MBA in Finance, or B.Com degree.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Tally Prime is mandatory.
o Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations.
o Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
• Experience:
o Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but freshers with relevant qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
