Finance And Payroll Officer

About the Role
The Centre for the Moving Image is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Payroll Officer to join its team. This varied role involves delivering the monthly payroll for four separate entities, as well as managing finance processes such as VAT reporting, cash flow management, and credit control.

This key support role assists the Head of Finance in producing financial reports and management accounts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
Deliver accurate and timely monthly payrolls for multiple entities
Manage VAT reporting and ensure compliance with tax regulations
Monitor and maintain cash flow, making recommendations to improve efficiency
Implement effective credit control procedures to minimize bad debt
Support the production of financial reports and management accounts
Maintain accurate financial records and systems
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a hybrid working model, allowing flexibility between working from home and occasional on-site days at the CMIs offices in Filmhouse, Edinburgh.
