Finance Assistant

Hutcheon Mearns is delighted to partner with a prominent organisation in their search for a Bookkeeper – Part Time based in Edinburgh. This role will work across both AP & AR while supporting the management accountant with month end. The salary on offer will be up to £27,000.

The Opportunity
Our client has experienced significant growth and diversification in recent years, expanding into various industries. In this role, you'll work alongside the Management Accounting team, supporting with month-end and management accounts while also covering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables. This role will be 25 hours long and can be flexible on the days and hours. Key duties include:

Preparing invoices
Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
Reconciling company accounts, including credit cards and expenses
SUPPORTING WITH MONTH-END DUTIES
Payment runs
Supplier reconciliations
Background and Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an office environment, particularly within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Proficiency in Excel and finance systems is essential.
