About the Position
Thrillophilia is a leading online travel company with 7 million monthly users. We are seeking an efficient Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance Department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist vendors and stakeholders with the accounts payable process, providing clear explanations and guidance as needed.
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all bills and payments are accurately accounted for and properly posted.
• Verify vendor ledger information against Thrillophilia's financial records.
• Submit timely payment requests to the Finance team.
• Analyze bank statements and resolve any discrepancies in payment processes.
• Process and approve vendor invoices.
• Address vendor payment queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Prepare accurate payment record documents for audit purposes.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Master of Commerce (MCom), or Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter qualification preferred.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the same domain, with corporate experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and relevant laws.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detailed-oriented individual with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
Job Details:
