The Finance Partnering Manager will transform ATCO Australia's finance operations into a business partnering model, positioning Finance as a strategic advisor. This role supports ATCO Australia's goals by overseeing financial planning, budgeting and analysis. Through stakeholder engagement and process improvements, the manager will enhance Finance's impact, ensuring governance and accountability.
What Does Success Look Like
Oversee annual financial plans and budgets, aligning with the company’s strategy to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
Provide strategic financial advice to support business objectives, enabling informed decision-making through data evaluation, trend identification and recommendations for cost savings and revenue growth.
Build strong relationships with business leaders, ensuring alignment between Finance and business priorities and enhancing Finance's visibility and contribution to success.
Offer financial insights and recommendations to influence critical business decisions, while driving continuous process improvement and innovation for team efficiency.
Lead change efforts to embed a finance business partnering culture, ensuring adoption of new ways of working and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Exposure & experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field. Professional certification such as CPA, CFA or CA is preferred. An advanced degree in business, finance or a related field is highly desirable.
Background
Extensive experience in a senior finance role within a finance business partnering model, with an in-depth understanding of effective partnering challenges and success factors.
Experience in infrastructure, utilities, energy, or similar industries (highly desirable).
Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance analysis to drive growth and profitability.
Proficiency in analysing complex financial data, identifying trends, and making strategic recommendations.
