Role Overview

As Financial Accountant you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting compliance with statutory and organizational requirements. This position is responsible for preparing financial statements, managing budgets, completing month-end processes, and providing analysis to drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

As a key contributor to the finance team, the Financial Accountant collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to optimize processes and deliver high-quality reporting aligned with strategic goals. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Perform month-end tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Review and finalize financial results to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
Analyse financial performance and variances to provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with teams to align budgets with operational and strategic goals.
Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with the finance and IT teams to enhance accounting systems and tools.

Key Requirements

CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent) with 3-4 years of audit experience in a mid-large practice
First mover looking to step into industry
Technically strong with excellent system skills

Willing to roll up your sleeves
