Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team in Pune, India. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the month-end close process, financial reporting, and ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities
• Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Process: Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate financial reporting, pass journal entries, including adjustments, accruals, and provisions, analyze and reconcile account balances.
• Reconciliation & Auditing: Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, reconcile payment gateway receipts to ensure accuracy, audit vendor invoices for errors and compliance, collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Accounts Payable & Vendor Management: Process and validate vendor invoices for timely payments, maintain vendor payment schedules and accurate records, conduct vendor account reconciliations and address any issues.
• Accounts Receivable & Billing: Issue and manage customer sales invoices, monitor receivables and maintain aging reports to ensure timely collections.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and company policies, maintain and organize accurate financial records, assist in internal and external audits.
• Operational & Ad-Hoc Activities: Support daily financial operations essential for business continuity, assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with the team, prepare financial reports and insights to support business decisions.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is ₹700,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• CPA qualification or at least two CPA subjects cleared.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
