Role : Manager - Financial Reporting

Job Description : The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting function, ensuring accurate and compliant periodic reports under IND-AS, maintaining robust internal controls, analyzing financial data, coordinating with departments and auditors and managing regulatory filings, including IRDA returns

Roles & Responsibilities :
• Overall in charge of the financial reporting function to ensure the accurate preparation and reporting periodically
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and stay updated on changes in reporting IND-AS
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls, safeguard the integrity of financial reporting and ensure compliance of the audit trail compliances
• Analyze financial reporting data, trends and variances for accurate periodic financial reporting.
• Work closely with other departments to gather necessary financial information, coordinate with external stakeholders, liaise with statutory and internal auditors, and ensure smooth periodic closure
• Responsible for filing applicable IRDA returns such as public disclosures, and BAP returns and handling adhoc requirements from the regulator

Qualification / Knowledge / Experience :

1. Qualified CA or CMA with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the insurance industry

2. Must have handled the role of financial reporting

3. Knowledge of Ind-AS & oracle would be preferable.
