FinTech Business Analyst
Essential skills/duties:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst supporting projects that involve business operations transformation, that include implementation of changed business processes and new technology platforms.
Plan and facilitate business analysis activities including workshop and stakeholder interviews.
Gather business requirements, identification of relevant high-level data needs as well as pain point analysis.
Carry out high level modelling of As-Is business processes and synthesise knowledge gathered into proposals for enhanced To-Be processes.
Translating information and documenting in the form of software features, acceptance criteria and other business analysis artefacts.
Conduct and assist with definition and testing of business systems including the investigation and resolution of application system problems whilst offering specialist advice in the context of the solution design and business process improvement.
Strong communication and relationship building skills with an initiative to work with minimal direction and form agreed plans to execute.
Provide a conduit between business areas and external partners and/or IT development test and operations team; whilst working in a multi-disciplinary team comprised of subject matter experts, developers, testers, external vendors and project managers.
Desirable skills:
Experience with TechnologyOne Financials and Supply Chain, or alternative ERP's / Financial Management Information Systems (FMIS) such as SAP, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle Financials.
Experience with Corporate Travel Management Systems (e.g. TechnologyOne Travel & Expense Management; SAP Concur; Navan).
Experience with Corporate Purchase / Credit Card management systems (e.g. TechnologyOne Purchase Cards including DXP, SAP Concur)
Relevant tertiary qualifications or formal business analysis certifications.
Role particulars:
Submission due: Tuesday 17th September 2024
Duration: 7/10/24 for 6 months
Extension/s: 2 x 3 month option to extend
Security clearance: Active Baseline clearance is essential
Location: Canberra, A.C.T
Working arrangements: Hybrid mix of office based and Work from Home. Successful applicants must be available to work in the Gungahlin ACT office for a minimum of 2 days per week and be able to attend on additional days that may be reasonably required.
