Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and technically adept

Firmware Lead

to drive the development of robust embedded systems for our next-gen kitchen robotics products. You’ll lead a team of firmware engineers, contribute to core architectural decisions, and work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, AI/ML, and cloud engineers. Your work will directly impact how users around the world experience smart home cooking.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of firmware engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain embedded firmware for AI-powered kitchen appliances. Own the architecture and design of firmware solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and safety. Collaborate closely with hardware teams for board bring-up, sensor integration, and real-time motor control. Interface with AI/ML and cloud backend teams for seamless IoT connectivity and OTA firmware updates. Drive continuous improvement in firmware development processes including CI/CD, testing, and documentation. Work with Product and UX teams to translate user needs into robust firmware features. Lead debugging and root cause analysis across hardware-software boundaries.

Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. 12+ years of experience in embedded firmware development with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity. Hands-on expertise in real-time motor control (BLDC, stepper, servo), PID tuning, and sensor fusion. Strong command of C/C++ and familiarity with RTOS-based development. Experience in embedded systems architecture, power management, and thermal sensing/control. Familiarity with IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE, Wi-Fi) and OTA firmware strategies. Bonus: Exposure to AI-integrated systems, machine vision, or real-time adaptive controls.
