Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project accounting
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project accounting
Proficient in JDE lease and purchasing
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including month-end and quarter-end close processes
Experience in capital project accounting and intercompany transactions
Familiarity with SEC regulations and financial reporting
Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

Responsibilities
This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting tasks, including month-end close, quarter-end close, capital project accounting, JDE lease, purchasing, intercompany accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, SEC footnotes, capital expenditures, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
Manage and oversee the entire fixed assets lifecycle, from acquisition to disposal
Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes accurately and within deadlines
Maintain and update the company's capital project accounting and provide accurate financial reports
Manage JDE lease and purchasing activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Reconcile intercompany accounts and perform intercompany transactions accurately and promptly
Prepare and present financial reports in accordance with SEC regulations, including footnotes
Monitor and track capital expenditures, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported
Conduct regular reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy
Collaborate with other members of the finance team to improve financial processes and policies
Participate in special projects as needed

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Assets and Lease Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting tasks, including month-end close, quarter-end close, capital project accounting, JDE lease, purchasing, intercompany accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, SEC footnotes, capital expenditures, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
