As our Food & Beverage Supervisor reporting to the Venue Manager, you will support leading a team to deliver the daily operations of the venue and provide an exceptional guest experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will use your understanding of products and technical knowledge along with a hands-on approach to create a wonderful experience for our guests and ensure a high level of efficiency across our barista service.

A few of your responsibilities:

Assist the Venue Manager to lead the team and support in achieving financial and operational targets
Supervise staff and assist the Venue Manager with training, development and performance management as well as leading daily shift briefings to ensure a smooth transition and handover between all shifts
Ensure all staff adheres to cash handling procedures, and record all cheque, money, credit card and room charge transactions in the MICROS system in accordance with policy and procedure
Monitor the quality of food and service to ensure high standards are maintained at all times
Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace; coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials; and maintain adequate levels of stock to meet demand
What we are looking for:

Supervisory experience within in a similar large busy environment, with a thorough knowledge of food and beverages
Demonstrated ability in planning and resourcing people and products, performance management and controlling labour costs and operating expenses
Exceptional guest service skills with a proactive attitude and natural ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests
Highly organised and eager, with a high attention to detail
Current RSA Statement of Attainment
Flexible availability for work over a 7-day roster
