Job Overview
Location: Clareview (Edmonton)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a positive experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Monitor food safety practices and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records as required.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Train and mentor new staff on food handling procedures, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
Collaborate with management to develop menus, plan special events, and implement promotional activities.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Skills

Strong background in hospitality with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Proficient in food preparation techniques and knowledgeable about food safety regulations.
Experience in cash handling and basic financial management.
Familiarity with bartending practices is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with customers.
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong team management skills to foster a collaborative work atmosphere.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
