JOB DESCRIPTION
Candidate Roles and Responsibilities-
• Candidate is expected to meet with clients along with Senior Merchandiser.
• Following up and coordinating with buyers of footwear
• Analysing sales value, customers reactions
• Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately
• Understand market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
• Collaborate with buyers, suppliers and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities and TAT
• Monitor stock movement and consider price changes and clear outs
• Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
Desired Candidates will have-
• Good knowledge of Footwear production, Footwear merchandising for Safety shoes, formal & casual shoes (Leather Industries). Preferably having studied footwear designing and development.
• Good knowledge of shoe materials such as leather, PVC raxin
• Good Computer skills and clarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, E-mail)
• Good English Communication (Writing and Speaking)
