We are recruiting an FLT Mechanic/ Technician for one of our automotive clients based in Sunderland. You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is an ongoing contract.

Key Responsibilities of the FLT Technician/Mechanic

As an FLT technician/Mechanic you will be working as part of team responsible for the servicing and maintenance of FLT’s on site for a large car manufacturing business.
• Carry out pre planned maintenance on FLT
• Complete priority repairs on any breakdowns
• Follow technical diagrams and SOP’s

Qualifications & Experience For The FLT Technician/ Mechanic
• Ideally C&G / BTEC L3 in mechanical or automotive engineering with a recognised appren-ticeship.
• Previous Experience of Automotive or mobile plant equipment maintenance would

be preferred.
• Experience of Gas and Electric FLT’s vehicle maintenance is preferred.
• Fleet maintenance of forklifts preferably LPG, HGV/LGV/Car mechanic or similar background also considered.

Hours & Pay For The FLT Technician
• Monday to Friday - 07:00am - 15:15pm
• 3+ hours per week
• £20.00p/h
