Role Description

This is a remote contract role for a Full Stack Typescript Web Application Developer at Gable Digital Solutions, Inc. As a Web Application Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of web applications and back-end systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include coding, debugging, testing, and implementing web-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop high-quality, scalable, and secure web applications. You may work on both internal projects, as well as projects for clients.

Qualifications
• Native level fluency in English is required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Very strong understanding of potential security vulnerabilities in application design
• Web Application Development and Back-End Web Development skills
• Experience in building web applications and software development
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Strong knowledge of Data Oriented Programming
• Experience in using programming languages such as Typescript, JavaScript, Python, C#, C, C++, GoLang
• Experience with Node.js and React / Next.js
• Knowledge of web technologies (XHTML, CSS, RESTful APIs)
• Solid understanding of how to build access controls and permissions around APIs based on roles, API keys, and sessions
• Experience in working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon RDS, MongoDB)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in agile development methodologies is a plus
• Experience with Visual Studio Code
• Experience with Git
• Experience with remote shell environments using SSH
• Basic understanding of networking concepts like IP addresses, ports, and protocols

Bonus Qualifications
• Experience with continuous testing, integration, and deployment
• Experience with Terraform
• Experience with multi-environment infrastructure: Dev, UAT, and Prod
