About the Role
First Choice Hair is hiring a creator who can plan, shoot, and edit salon content on a per contract basis. You will capture high quality photo and video in salon and deliver ready to post assets for social and ads.

What you will do
Pre production call to confirm concept, mood, and shot list
On site capture at our Brampton salon. Portraits. Services. Before and afters. B roll.
Record clean audio when needed for short interviews or voice lines
Edit for vertical first delivery. Captions. Hooks. Music sync. Light sound design.
Basic color correction and skin cleanup
Export platform ready files with safe margins and optimal bitrates
Deliver all finals and a simple asset library we can reuse
Sample deliverable sets
Choose what fits the brief. We will confirm in writing per contract.
Set A. Three vertical reels between 12 and 20 seconds. Ten edited photos
Set B. One hero video between 30 and 45 seconds. Two vertical reels. Fifteen edited photos
Set C. UGC style talking head. Two cuts between 20 and 30 seconds. Ten edited photos
Requirements
Strong portfolio of short form edits and beauty or lifestyle work
Confident with salon lighting and mixed light indoors
Own gear. Mirrorless or cinema body. Fast primes. Gimbal. On camera light. Two point LED kit. Lav or shotgun mic.
Pro editor in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or CapCut Pro with captions and motion basics
Reliable file management and on time delivery
Bonus but not required. Drone basic. Light retouching in Lightroom or Photoshop
Turnaround and logistics
Typical shoot window. Two to four hours per booking
Typical turnaround. Two to five days from shoot to first cut
Two revision passes included per asset set
File handoff via Drive or Dropbox with organized folders and project notes
Compensation
Per contract. Provide your rate card for half day, full day, and edit only
Please also share package pricing for Set A, Set B, and Set C above
Payment via invoice within seven business days of final approval
Rights and usage
Work for hire. First Choice Hair owns final edits and raw files for perpetual use across social, web, and ads
Creator credit is welcome where suitable
