About Happy Spoons
Happy Spoons is a community-based meal delivery program serving families, seniors, and Medicaid beneficiaries across New York City, primarily in the Bronx.
We are committed to delivering nutritious meals with professionalism, consistency, and care. Our logistics team plays an essential role in ensuring the communities we serve receive dependable weekly support.
Position Overview
We are building our logistics team and looking for reliable, committed individuals who want to be part of a fast-moving operation.
This is a W2 employee position offering stable hours, consistent weekly pay, and the opportunity to grow within the team.
Team members may start as Helpers and, based on performance and operational needs, transition into Driver roles.
Roles within the Team
Helper (starting role)
• Support loading and unloading of meal boxes
• Assist drivers during routes
• Help ensure efficiency in daily operations
Starting pay: $22/hour
Driver (growth opportunity)
• Pick up and transport meals between Monsey and the Bronx
• Complete assigned delivery routes efficiently
• Maintain delivery logs and communicate with operations
Higher pay based on role and responsibility
Growth Opportunity
We prioritize internal growth.
Some team members begin as Helpers and move into Driver roles based on reliability, performance, and readiness.
This transition can happen quickly depending on operational needs.
Compensation & Schedule
• Starting at $22/hour (Helper role)
• Increased pay when moving into Driver responsibilities
• Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
• Overtime opportunities may be available
• Monday–Friday schedule (early start times may apply)
• W2 employment status
• Company vehicle provided for drivers
What We’re Looking For
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift and carry meal boxes
• Basic smartphone/GPS navigation skills
Driver Requirements (for growth into driver role)
• Valid Driver’s License (NY or NJ)
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable driving between Monsey and the Bronx
